The Cockpit is a collection of stories from the Battlefield manga series collected in Big Comic Original. The Cockpit was a series of war stories, mainly related to aviation, written by Leiji Matsumoto. In spite of the usual criticism of the Axis powers, the Cockpit focused on outcasts of their respective armies, the ones who wanted little to nothing with the war as they saw it as a pointless endeavor. The Cockpit was also made into an OVA series detailing some of the events in the manga.
