Red Bourbon is a unique and popular alcoholic beverage that is seen throughout the Leijiverse. It is a favorite drink of several of the major characters including Captain Harlock and Maetel.

As the name suggests, the drink is colored red making it resemble a cloudy wine. Its alcoholic content is stated to be rather high and is not recommended for minors as even beings with a high tolerance like Miime have been shown to get drunk from just a glass of the drink. Variations also exist including the Heavy Red Bourbon made by a bartender on Heavy Melder.
