The Crescendolls were a fictional band from the movie Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem. The band consisted of four alien musicians who hailed from an unknown planet, where they were abducted from before being brought to Earth, being given the cosmetic appearance of humans. Ultimately, they were saved by a heroic man of their species who had sacrificed his life to free them from the control of the mastermind who had abducted them, and together, the members of the band halted the progress of their adversary’s plan to conquer the universe with the power of 5,555 golden records. In time, the band regained their alien appearances and memories, and were sent back to their homeworld. Whether they continue to exist in the future during any important events of the Leijiverse is, as of yet, unknown.
